Ok, so it may not quite be November yet, but it’s definitely not to early to start thinking about holiday cards. In our 5 years of marriage Nate and I have only ever sent out one holiday card…and I’m pretty sure we were late with them. Things get busy, time goes too fast, and before you know it Christmas is here! So as part of our adoption fundraising efforts we’ve put our graphic design skills to work and set up a new etsy shop of photo Christmas cards!
If you’ve never purchased anything from Etsy before, and you don’t want to set up an account, you definitely don’t need to use etsy…although Etsy is a pretty sweet site, so you should check it out. You can either leave me a comment, fill out our “join our tree” form, email me if you know me personally, or send me a message on facebook. You can order two types of products. One is the digital file, for you to print yourself at your favorite printer/photo place. The cost is $15 per design, and the cards can be 4×6 or 5×7. It’s also a great way to share your holiday card on your blog, facebook, etc. and keep the cost of postage down!
Or, you can order printed cards! They are 5×7 and come with white envelopes ready for you to address and ship out!
Either way we customize the design with your photos and text, and then either email you the print ready file so you can have them printed wherever you’d like, or print them for you and ship them out! Proofs are sent out within 1-2 days of receiving text/photos. Printed cards take 1-2 weeks to print.
